One zip disk.

Some jumbo paperclips.Take your time when you are straightening them.

This is a 9 inch pigtail.I found it on ebay foe ten bucks.I cut off the connector it came with and prepared it for soldering.

First things first.One zip disk is required.Turn it over and you will find four very tiny screws holding it together.I did not have a small enough screwdriver so I used the tip of my exacto knife.Make sure you save the screws.

Nothing too exciting to look at here.After taking it apart tear off the white fabric-like material.There is no need to save this.The metal protective tab on the bottom of the disk will be put on after we have finished.The small metal spring you can throw away.
